A Salute To Those That Serve 

From the Red, White, and Blue BBQ, A practice flight the day before, and the main event we’ve all been waiting for... The 2019 Atlantic City Air Show is coming soon! 

Kick-off this yearly family friendly event at the RW&B BBQ on Monday, August 19, 2019 from 6:30-9:00pm. Located at the Linwood Country Club, See map below.

Hosted by the greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce, This one of a kind BBQ serves as the opening ceremony for the Air Show.

Ticket holders will have the opportunity to dine with representatives from all branches of the military as well as the crew members and pilots the perform in the show. 

The highlight of this event will be the United States Army Golden Knights who will jump at dusk..landing on the 10th hole which is just feet from the viewing area. 

The BBQ Menu is as follows:

  • Grilled Shrimp Skewers 
  • Grilled Vegetables
  • Potato Salad
  • Cole Slaw
  • Garden Salad

  • Assorted Cookies
  • Chocolate Covered Pretzels
  • Fresh Fruit


This event does taken place rain or shine, and no refunds will be provided. 

Following this outstanding event, on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 you will not want to miss your opportunity to catch the air show practice. Hosting a loose schedule of acts from approximately 11am to 3pm. They will be circling and soaring over the free AC beaches and boardwalk.

The 2019 Airshow is hosted by Geico, and will take place on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 starting at 11:30am.

Curious of the prime viewing locations? The show can be experienced on land, and the water! 

On land: You will not have a bad view from either the beach or the boardwalk! Grab an Ocean- Facing Hotel room, or a bite to eat at an outdoor venue is another great option. Premium Seating is available and more information can be found here: Where Are The Premium Viewing Areas?

On the water: While you are certainly welcome to tour the show from the water, please note that there will be a “no boat zone” restricting all boats except US Coast Guard from moving in too close to the beach. 

Finally, make sure you take a peek at the pre-flight checklist below to optimize your experience! (List provided by the AC Chamber of Commerce) 

  • Protect yourself with sunscreen.
  • Wear light clothing in the hot weather.
  • Bring snacks and water to stay refreshed.
  • Bring sunglasses for optimal sight of the show.
  • Cameras and binoculars are a great way to capture the action.
  • Beach accessories, chairs, umbrellas, hats and bathing suits are welcomed on the beach.
  • Bring a portable radio and tune it to WPG Talk Radio 95.5 FM and 1450 AM to hear all of the commentary for the show.
