However, we have seen a natural decline in new listings coming onto the market and properties going under contract. The charts below show both of our local MLS systems. This isn't necessarily bad new because the decrease in market activity is expected due to the virus and stay at home orders. It is also good news that the decline in listing and contracts is proportional. It would be concerning news if new listings was increasing but contracts were decreasing, for example.
