Beach Watch sits right at the foot of the 7th Street boardwalk ramp. It's one of the few Ocean City buildings where you can own a place, bring the dog, and rent it by the week.
Originally built in the mid-1970s and converted to condominium ownership in 1985, Beach Watch is a two-story building of 46 residences over ground-level parking, wrapped around a heated pool, a hot tub, and a big ocean-view sundeck. There's an elevator and a ramp, on-site laundry, an outside shower, and a real estate and rental office in the building itself. Most units are one bedrooms, with a handful of two-bedroom corner units that carry two private balconies. People buy here for the location first: you're steps from the sand, and George's, the rides, and Manco & Manco are a short walk up the boards. It works as a summer place, a full-time home, or a rental that pays for itself, and it's just as easy to do all three.
